Is farm fresh one of those places?
I've had this happpen one too many times in wesgate. I no longer shop there for that reason.
Billionaire Guma Aguiar's yacht has washed ashore in Florida without Guma onboard. There is currently a massive search underway on land, at sea and from helicopters & planes by the Coast Guard, State Fish & Wildlife agents, Broward County Sheriffs Deputies and dozens of local police forces.
Guma has said since his falling out with Leib Tropper that he fears for his life from Tropper and his own uncle Tom Kaplan who still backs Tropper. CBS Miami in fact are reporting that Ft. Lauderdale detectives are investigating his disappearance as "suspicious" and they fear Guma may be in grave danger.
Tropper once tried to frame Guma as attempting to throw out him out of a hotel penthouse window. Jerusalem police did not buy Tropper's story especially considering that hotel staff who witnessed the incident said Tropper is lying.
In case anyone was wondering what that sichsuch was about by the hotel window, Guma had donated $10 million to yeshivos with Tropper as his gizbar. Guma then visited various roshei yeshiva & gedolim on a trip to Israel who informed him that Tropper had not forwarded a single penny to them. One can understand that a billionaire like Guma would stay in a penthouse suite. There was only one other penthouse suite in the hotel. So one day Guma opens the door and is surprised to see Tropper is the guest in the other suite, but of course the fresser ausnutzer Tropper is very good at pampering himself with other people's money. They started arguing over the tzedaka. When Tropper denied he did anything wrong, Guma lost his cool and got physical but did not try to throw Tropper out the window. Tropper's false window claim became a laughing stock in the secular Israeli press.
Guma then summoned Tropper to a din Torah and then went to court when Tropper ignored the hazmonos.
It is pilei piloyim that R' Elya Ber in Fallsburg continues to take dirty money from Tropper and Kaplan. Kaplan is still pushing improper gerus as a way of kashering his intermarried relatives. Roshei yeshiva have written private letters and tried pleading in vain with R' Elya Ber to disassociate with this filth.
Mr. Ventana is a clever name as ventana is "window" in the Brazilian dialect of Portugese that Guma speaks.
The Sun Sentinel newspaper is reporting this morning that Ft. Lauderdale Police have impounded Guma's boat and are going over it carefully for evidence. A boat expert who helped police retrieve the boat says that he noticed a tie bar was broken which can cause the engines to go wild & throw people overboard into the water. Someone could have sabotaged the boat with the intention of drowning Guma.
The CVS pharmacy chain is notorious for ringing up higher prices at the cash register than marked at the shelf. The arrogant cashiers mostly refuse to match the shelf price which is illegal. CVS is often fined but continues this practice. I assume it's because they profit more from breaking the law even after all the fines which are no more than a slap on the wrist on Are some supermarkets scamming the consumer?
One suspicion that Guma Aguiar was attacked is the way that his boat just happened to make it back to shore which is not likely if there was an accident
