*KCL'S ADMINISTRATOR making a kidush

KCL's Administrator was preparing to make a kidush on Shabbos & of course he was going to serve cholent. He visits one of the KCL certified establishments, "I need 2 of your large cholent crock pots for my kidush cholent, you can give to me as I only use also KCL approved meat".

The owner says "Rabbi with all due respect, sorry they are already RENTED out for this shabbos, & most other shabbosim as well". Somewhat shocked KCL Administrator-"Rented-out? What meat & ingredients do they use in your pots?

Owner, I don't realy know, but they give it back clean, or we clean it. The Rabbi left.

They continued the practice of renting out their pots.

NO!, The pots were not kashered after the above episode.

Why do have a picture of the sefer from Rabbi Eidlitz here when the oylam does not hold of his kashrus standards?

These stories are pathetic, but I know the shnorrer mindset where this comes from. It's like the type that stays in BMG too long without being productive. They shnorred meals in the dining room until R' Binyomin Finkelstein chased them away because they didn't have reshus from yeshiva to eat there.

One night years ago I was in the old "Falafel & Chips" on 5th St. Some yungerman was making Kaufman crazy by cutting to the front of the line, shnorring free food and finally writing a bigger check than the food was worth to get back extra pocket money, all without asking.

This is kind of getting very iteresting, were we taken to the "cleaners" all these years?

How much money does the KCL get per year. It sounds to me that it's a well greased operation with side benefits. Perhaps if we forget the kosher supervission fees &???????? the prices can come down somewhat. They don't do anything besides fooling us & the establishments.

Rented out means 'We have a kiddush elsewhere and you can't have them'.
Why read into a story?
